Topic: Tracking Direct Care Staff Retention, part of the ALF/RCF Compliance Webinar Series
Oregon law now requires that a uniform quality metrics reporting system be developed to measure and compare performance of assisted living and residential care communities across the state. A governor-appointed quality measurement council is tasked with developing metrics to measure the quality of care provided in facilities.
The ALF/RCF Compliance Webinar Series will ensure that providers are prepared and ready for new regulatory requirements related to quality metrics collection and reporting as they become available. Each webinar will review regulatory fundamentals, best practices for implementing quality metric measurements and customer satisfaction, and strategies for continuous compliance and quality improvement. OHCA’s Linda Kirschbaum will present each webinar and will discuss what is being measured by the state’s quality metrics reporting system, the formulas used to measure quality, the timeline for implementation, and reporting requirements.
Discussion topics will include:
- Tracking Direct Care Staff Retention (June 13)
- Strategies to Manage Falls Using Metrics (July 31)
- Antipsychotic Medications for Non-Standard Purposes (August 28)
- Annual Resident Satisfaction Surveys via a CoreQ, 3rd Party Entity (September 18)
