The OHCA Resident Care Coordinator in Community-Based Care training program was created to meet the training needs for new and experienced RCCs/RCMs working in assisted living and residential care communities in Oregon. This course consists of 2-days of live virtual instruction (9:00am - 2:00pm) and approximately 6.0 hours of self-directed online learning modules daily.

This intensive orientation to the roles and responsibilities of the resident care coordinator/manager in community-based care will benefit both new and experienced assisted living and residential care professionals. The purpose of this course is to familiarize the learner with the role of the resident care coordinator and the skills needed to perform this role. Pertinent regulations and processes will be examined.
