Employers throughout the state will start paying into Oregon's new paid family and medical leave program beginning on January 1, 2022, and the program will be available to employees to utilize starting January 1, 2023.
This program will provide wage replacement benefits for Oregon workers who take time off for family or medical leave and will have a substantial impact on Oregon employers—including senior living and long-term care employers.
During this webinar, attendees will hear about key provisions of the program and related dates and deadlines. The presenter will provide practical suggestions to help long term care employers to be ready for, and compliant with, this new law. The presenter will also address the ways in which employees can utilize the program. Attendees will discuss how to prepare, create, and implement related workplace policies and procedures under the new paid family and medical leave law. A recording of this webinar will be available to registrants after the live event.
