The role of social services staff and social workers in long-term care is complex and multi-faceted. A key component is enabling each individual resident to function at their highest possible level of social and emotional wellness as they transition into or out of the care environment. This conference will focus on ways that social services staff and social workers can build a toolbox of resources to assist them in meeting the ever-changing and complex needs of residents. Focusing on in-depth knowledge, attendees will leave with low-investment, high-return strategies to implement and enhance their effectiveness!

This event is held over two consecutive days, each day consisting of 2 hours of interactive presentation and facilitated discussion, where registrants can collaborate and create action plans. Each session will be recorded for registrants to watch and use as a resource following the event.
